Choosing vendors for your upcoming wedding is quite the task. Where do you even start? What vendors do you need? Which vendors are you supposed to hire first for your wedding? How do you know which vendors will be the best fit for you? I am writing this to help you as you change your wedding dreams into plans!
I am Abi, a wedding photographer based in Spokane WA. I have been in the wedding scene here for about 4 years and usually shoot around 20-25 weddings per year. I have met many vendors in the area and worked closely with a lot of them to help other brides and grooms have the wedding of their dreams! My biggest goal when it comes to photographing weddings is to help you have the best day possible. I want you to celebrate you and serve you so you feel confident and stress free on your day. Your experience is what is important to me, even if I am not the photographer on your day. You can read more about me and my photography business here!
Vendors play such an important role in your wedding day experience and its so important that you choose people that you fully trust and feel fully confident in! As you’re choosing your vendors, there are a few important things to consider.
1. Interviewing your potential vendors. Talk to people, make sure you connect with them and they catch your vision for your day!
2. You’re not going to click with everyone, and that is OKAY! There is a person (or team) for everyone. Don’t move forward with a vendor if you don’t fully trust them.
3. There are so many options for vendors. You can choose whoever and whatever you want! If you don’t want a bar cart or a photo booth, don’t have one. If you want to have each and every type of vendor, do it! Your wedding is your wedding, don’t get caught up with the need to keep up with the trends.
4. Do your research on everyone. Ask around, get good information from reliable sources.
5. Last but not least, do what YOU want! I am here to advocate for you and what you want and help you have the best day possible.
