The dreamiest June wedding at St Aloysious church near downtown Spokane followed by the biggest party at Schmidt Cattle Co at the base of Mt Spokane.
Miles and Emily did not hold back when planning this celebration.
Emily is one of the most intentional humans on the planet. Ive been lucky enough to call her a close friend for several years now. She loves her people, and literally complete strangers, like they are the most important person she’s ever talked to. This was so evident at her wedding, from the pajama party in the morning to the dance party at night, each person who played a role on their wedding day knew how much she cared about them.
We started the morning with a pajama party while Courtney (Lash and Make) and Alicia (French Twist) glammed her up. The sweetest moments with Emily’s bridesmaids and her mama helped her set the tone for the day. Once all the girls were ready to go, we headed out to St Al’s for the ceremony. As soon as we pulled up to the church, the tears started coming. This was a day both Miles and Emily (and their parents) had prayed for for a long time. First look with her dad, gifts for her parents, and prayer from each of their bridal parties filled the hour preceding the ceremony. They shared personal vows which left every eye teary. We all celebrated as they shared their first kiss as a married couple and left the church. After the ceremony, we headed up to the reception venue (in a school bus, might I add) for formal photos with their bridal parties and each other. Can we talk about how dreamy Schmidt Cattle Co is in June? Gosh, it was a dream!
The reception space was littered with incredible floral arrangements from Tia with In Bloom Spokane. The cowhide rugs and ornate vintage furniture and rugs brought encapsulated the vision of the wedding day, rustic sophistication. The bride and groom got a standing ovation as they entered into the reception, these guys are seriously so loved. They had the SWEETEST speeches from their closest friends and family, there was not a dry eye in the room…. Or on the lawn! After all the sweet and sentimental gushy stuff, we had the party of all parties! We danced and danced and danced. At some point, a little puppy joined the party and was the mascot of the evening! The two “jetted” away in Miles’ grandpa’s 1985 Ford F250 to end the night.
This day was such a fun day, I would like to relive it over and over again!
